This is a blog of my photography. The PotD will be updated daily. I shoot around the Chicago area, in the city and out in the state parks in the northern part of the state, and all around the suburbs. You can click to enlarge any photograph, and requests for prints and wallpapers are welcome. My photos are stored over on Flickr too.

Stained Glass, St. Marys, New Orleans
I loved the vibrant blue. The whole church was drenched in bright, joyful colors. I wasn't used to that! :)
I'm slow-- I didn't really think about the reason there was so much blue in the church until later. I just loved all the color, and noticed the quantity of blue. It wasn't until afterwards, thinking about it, that I remembered that blue is traditionally the color of the Blessed Mother.
Very pretty! Beautiful way to start the morning, looking at that picture! Kris
